    Dentist & Owner

    Dr. Atit Patel earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from the Government Dental College & Hospital in Ahmedabad, India, in 2013. He gained valuable experience practicing dentistry in India before successfully completing the National Dental Examining Board (NDEB) equivalency process in Canada on his first attempt in 2019.

    Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Atit actively pursues continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in dental care. His commitment ensures that patients benefit from the most modern, effective treatments available. In addition to general dentistry, he has a special interest in dental implantology and bone grafting procedures.

    Outside the clinic, Dr. Atit enjoys spending quality time with his family, hiking, cooking, and swimming. As a devoted husband and father, he brings a warm, patient, and family-friendly approach to his practice. Whether it’s navigating bedtime routines, sharing a few “dad jokes,” or admiring crayon masterpieces, he embraces the joyful chaos of family life—and brings that same energy and compassion to every patient interaction.

    At Shawnee Dental, I had fillings and a teeth cleaning. I have to admit that every member of the staff is outstanding in terms of greeting and handling you! I experienced a genuine, comfortable encounter rather than the usual great "customer service" experience. I've had bad experiences with dentists in the past, but this time was fantastic!

    I had an excellent experience during my dental cleaning! experience.Best place I ever seen with utmost care and compassionate.My Dentist,Dental assistant and receptionist was very friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. Both Dentist and assistant was very gentle with cleaning. very thorough, explaining everything clearly and making sure I was at ease the whole time. My teeth feel amazingly clean, and I appreciated how punctual and organized the office was. I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone looking for quality care and a pleasant experience.
